A New Tradition Begins in 2027

The Rayzors Foundation is proud to introduce the Mental Health Awareness 7th Inning Stretchโ€”an exciting new annual event that will bring together athletes, families, businesses, and communities across Western New York to support one common goal: raising awareness and funding for mental health programs.

Launching in mid-August 2027, this week-long baseball and softball fundraiser will celebrate the power of sports to unite people while helping break the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Whether you’re stepping into the batter’s box, cheering from the stands, or sponsoring a team, every inning played will help support mental health initiatives throughout our region.

What to Expect

The inaugural 7th Inning Stretch will feature:

  • โšพ Seven days of non-stop baseball and softball
  • ๐ŸฅŽ Youth and adult divisions
  • ๐Ÿ’ฅ A Home Run Derby at Sahlen Field
  • ๐Ÿ’š Mental health awareness activities throughout the tournament
  • ๐ŸŽ— Opportunities to honor loved ones, celebrate recovery, and support local mental health organizations

More than a tournament, this event is designed to create conversations, build hope, and remind everyone that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.

Teams will compete in multiple age groups and divisions including:

  • 12U
  • 14U
  • 16U
  • 18U
  • Adult Men’s
  • Adult Women’s
  • Adult Co-Ed

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or simply looking to play for a meaningful cause, there will be a place for your team.

The Grand Finale

The tournament will conclude with an exciting Home Run Derby at Sahlen Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons.

This signature event will bring together participants, families, sponsors, and the community for an unforgettable celebration of baseball, softball, and mental health awareness.
